“Even in its darkest passages, the heart is unconquerable. It is important that the body survives, but it is more meaningful that the human spirit prevails.”
― Dave Pelzer, A Child Called "It"
First, I want to say thank you for the outpouring of love and support over the past six months. When I first started this blog, it became my outlet, my way to express all the emotions I have been feeling, and a way to convey everything I was going through! I saw it as a way to find myself in the “broken journey” that I have been calling my life. Not only has this blog allowed me an outlet, but I have used it as my way of hiding from the beautiful world around me!
I want to say I have loved hearing the stories from everyone who has emailed me, from those who have reached out when they need help as well. I have always wanted to encourage a never stop attitude when you feel like no one is on your side. Please remember that I am. In the past couple of days some hateful things have been said, and I have no response to them. I have no desire to fight for myself when it does not seem worth it. I think some time away from writing might help me recover from the things going on around me. I am taking the time to remember why I started writing in the first place, to go see the world around me, and I advise all of you to do the same. Never hide from something because you are scared of the world around you.
As I take this break from my blog, I want to remind those of you who are reading that you are never too weak to fight a battle, but today I have no desire to fight this battle anymore. The last things I have to say are this--Here I am waving my white flag again, saying I have no desire to keep fighting. Life goes on, you can learn from your mistakes, and you can grow from some of the things you need to do as required by the law, or you can continue living in the past.
I am sorry to all of you if it looks like I am giving up at this point, especially when I have told you all to keep fighting. For now I am taking a personal break to fight my battle behind closed doors! Remember this is not goodbye, just see you later!
Thank you again, with so much love and support,
Molly Francis
