With October being domestic violence awareness month, I have gone back and forth about writing, posting, or tweeting about it. I hold this very close in my heart over the past couple years, and I have never been afraid of telling my story. I have grown and learned a lot since I first walked out of a horrible situation in February 2015 and even more since I wrote my last blog post in June 2017.

Molly, you are so fortunate that you have had a wonderful supportive family and friends. So happy you have risen above! So proud of you. Just watched Maid, on Netflix. Some are not as lucky as you. Keep telling your story! Love you bunches, Zister!

I continue to admire your bravery and pray for you and anyone else suffering in silence. I swear that the 20s are the worst. That feeling of being alone in a crowded room. But you had it 10x worse than I would have ever imagined. It’s not you…it was him. It’s time men treated women with respect in all situations. No excuses. Thank you for sharing.
